I actually like the dynamics inherent in the power imbalance but I want a loving, happy relationship. So, where there is a power imbalance but the one in control would never take advantage or the one with less power it assertive and confident enough to be taken care of. Lots of trust and good communication.

I do on occasion like fics where there are harsher dynamics but it's a different kind of enjoyment and I would never want them for characters I genuinely like. Usually it has to be one character I hate harming the character I like, and the character I hate gets his at the end.

I usually, when it comes to power dynamics like either extremes, reverse power dynamics where RL and relationship dynamics are different or where there are no RL power dynamics but lots of relationship ones.
