16. Holy crap, talk about taking words out of my mouth :|b Pretty much reminds me of Brad Bird's rant about people addressing animation as a genre, which I also agree with whole heartedly.

Boy do I love him too. I don't know if it can be found on the net, but it's on the DVD commentary of The Incredibles. He went on a rant about how--while he admits that it's still better than nothing--he begrudges the Animation catagory in any sort of film awards. Because it implies animation is a genre, when it is really an artform diverse enough to be given the respect to be able to get into an actual genre catagory like horror, comedy, drama, etc.

I think he also makes note that he'll punch the next guy to SAY that animation is a genre too XD

Oh good, I own that, I'll make sure to look at it this weekend. Did he mention his address in there anywhere at all? Because I think I'd like to go over there and personally propose. That's been a huge annoyance of mine forever and ever.
