4. Aww, I know a bunch of people have already given you advice, but maybe you should try being a bit more direct. I know it's hard to do, especially when you're shy, but perhaps you should comment to the people who are ignoring you and say something to the effect of:

"I think you're a nice person (if you do think that), but I've noticed you haven't been interacting with me much at all. I don't know your reasons for that, but I would like it if we could interact more sometime, as I would like to get to know you better."

Just try to keep it polite, but also try to show that you're curious about why they haven't been replying to you. That might give you some honest answers or responses, and if not...maybe you should just try to find some new friends who actually want to interact with you. :( No one should have to be ignored like that! Good luck!

I considered a direct approach...but I am not a direct person unfortunately. I always just bottle it up inside and try to solve it myself. This is the first time I ever asked for help. I also worry that they may just...give a really mean response. Not to accuse them of definitely doing that, but I'm kind of afraid to hear any honest responses. I do believe being direct is one of the best approaches, but I will be the first to admit that I am too cowardly for that. :/

I will keep trying, though. Maybe I'll eventually get the guts to IM them or something because I fear that if I post a comment like that that it might...generate something negative no matter how positive I sound.
