Woman here. Have you ever even seen the show? Every girl in it is treated with a ton of respect, and does in fact challenge misogynistic ideas based on how they appear. It's great, I love it.

And yes, their designs are goddamned adorable. And yes, real women are shaped the way they are too.

In particular I really like the episode where a magazine sends a female reporter to do a feature on her. It's just a really good summation of the way society treats people who choose to become models/ idols etc

So you're trying to invalidate my opinion by asserting that I'm male. That's kind of messed up.

I'm not pretending all of Super Sonico is okay, I know there are some problems with the way she is presented and definitely problems with the hardcore "waifu" people who will defend her viciously.

I just really like her character design. It makes me feel more comfortable to wear thigh high socks and be comfortable with that bulge were the socks pinch my thighs. It makes me feel better about wearing t-shirts that get eaten by my cleavage. It's really refreshing to see that in a design.
