Honestly, I think it's a red herring tbh. Though if Kishimoto does stick with it, it would be amazing tbh. The meltdown would be worse than it already is.

Uh, DNA testing hit a match. Unless Orochimaru's equipment is that faulty, which, if he's cloning the shit out of things I don't think it's faulty, then yes, she is Karin's kid.

Now to wonder why the hell Sakura kept that secret.

I was more thinking that it was Sasuke's DNA that matched. I honestly wouldn't put it past Kishimoto to have Karin keep something with Sasuke's DNA on her desk. Remember the whole Toothbrush thing? Or was that anime only?

That's true, but I can ALSO see Orochimaru being VERY meticulous with his cloning and DNA technology and since Karin was/is working with him, I wouldn't put it past anything that that tech can detect Karin's DNA, no matter how minimal.

Though i will throw everything out the window if what you say is true. Cause seriously. This shit is getting ridiculous and ugh.

For what it's worth, I really hope you're right! I can totally see Orochimaru pulling something like that off. It would be far more interesting than her turning out to be Sakura and Sasuke's kid all along.

Gaiden in general has just been surreal. I never thought that we'd be getting baby mama drama in fucking Naruto, of all things.
