I got excited for the trailer, but I won't be all that excited for the game itself until they tell me whether or not there's at least one non-human same-sex LI for male characters. Not being able to boink any of the male aliens as a guy was depressing. :(

...I swear I'm gonna be that guy whose first question if/when aliens properly make contact is to find out if they're allergic to latex. :|

I will not judge you! I would've loved the ability to romance Thane as a guy! (And I know there's dialog in ME2 for such a romance, so it's sad that they either never completed the romance, or scrapped it. They do that a lot with same-sex romances. Maybe they just don't give themselves enough time, idk.)

More options is always something to be happy about!

Oh god, I swooned so hard over Thane that it was almost terrible. If my heart hadn't been set on my femshep romancing Garrus by then, I'd have gone for that in an instant. And I haven't gotten around to replaying yet because I'm horrible at shooters, so the entire trilogy so far is an exercise in frustration. xD

Thane made me swoon too. To be fair so did Garrus and I really wanted to romance him in ME1 and was excited for his romance in ME2, but his actual romance in ME2 felt awkward and unsatisfying to me so I didn't romance him again in ME3. It got much better there, but by that time I was back to thinking of him as my BFF and it didn't work for me.

BioWare knows how to make likable, sexy aliens though, so I have hope for ME4 in that regard! If nothing else, I'm sure there will be a character you'll want to romance. (Inquisition did good in that way too.)

And aww. Hehe. I'm good with shooters, but ME1 was not the funnest game gameplay wise. ME2 and ME3 were huge improvements, but if you aren't great at shooters I can see why you might not be jumping to replay them. I replayed the first two games so many damn times, but after the ending I didn't have a lot of incentive to replay ME3.
