I do a crossword puzzle every day - I wouldn't say it's useless because I always wind up learning some trivia I didn't know before. Plus they say it keeps you mentally sharp... we'll see how that pans out for me in the future.

I fucking own at pinball. This has helped me in life absolutely zero times.

I can also fix an analog TV, which isn't entirely useless but not as helpful as it used to be in the real world.

Unfortunately for us crossword puzzle mavens, the recent research seems to suggest that you're better off pinning your hopes on exercise and first-person shooter games.
