I can see why it might rub you the wrong way because going by what you said I'm not fond of it either, but I do think that not agreeing to a part because you aren't happy with the content of the role is fine! Maybe they originally wanted him in a couple of short scenes and he didn't think it was worth the effort? I mean, there's nothing wrong with small roles (any role is worthy if the writing is good), but maybe he's got other films he's considering too.

Who knows, but Hemsworth has always seemed like a delightful person so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, I want to. If it's reprising Annie Potts role, seems like that would be enough screen time to be all right, as well as - Janine is so awesome, so the 'male version' could just be so fun!

I hold out hope. :)
