I don't find him sexy exactly, he's just so angry and messed up all the time (or used to be, at least).

I've spent fourteen years mostly wanting to give him a hug and tell him things will be okay. Which is kind of stupid now, guy's got it pretty much made and doesn't seem to need that any more. I'd still want to do it!

Nope. I mean, I wanted to give him a hug, not a long term relationship in which I vainly try to solve all his problems for him and expect him to change for me though the power of love!

I'd give a sad cat a hug, too! I am not prepared to adopt one right now.

(Plus if you fixed him that'd probably ruin where all the really meaningful music and lyrics are coming from.)
