I had so much fun at this ridiculous movie it was unreal, like I was hoping to enjoy it because I love the other Jurassic Park movies(yes even JP 3) but I was not prepared for just how much I adored it by the end of the movie, like I'm having to go see it again because I enjoyed it that much.

Also part of me is contemplating on getting one of the novelty cups this time if the cinema I'm going to has them.

My theater was giving out free posters, so I took one. And I'm going to see it again at least once more. I loved this movie so much.

Oh man I am so jealous of you, there was no free stuff at my cinema. But yeah I need to see it again. :D

It was just great, with its delicious nods to the original and really, I think a lot of the criticisms I had heard going in (too corporate, unsensible footwear, safety in general and "Raptor Bros") were pretty much addressed in the film itself.

Really, the only thing that broke my suspension of disbelief was Kate running from a T-Rex ("We clocked the T-Rex at 30 miles an hour..." you know) but even then. I can handwave it enough to believe the new situation made it slow down.

Yes, I loved the nods to the original films and I even loved the acknowledgment that the dinosaurs weren't accurate to how they would have looked but bred to fit the mold of what people expected dinosaurs to look like.

I loved every moment of the Raptor Squad ngl and not going stop loving it, it was beautiful, and I liked that they weren't treated like fully obedient attack dogs but wild animals that could and would eat people given the chance. And Bluueeeeee, Bluueeeee!

Ha, yeah that bit had me thinking the T-Rex would have caught up with her, but it was also a really cool moment so I was just like 'fuck it, enjoy the T-Rex'. Also tag-team T-Rex and Raptor fight, that shit was right out of a video game, it was amazing.

I loved that mention of the dinosaurs not looking like they were supposed to because it was a nod to the fact that we now know dinosaurs most likely had feathers rather than scales.

The raptor squad was my favorite for the same reason as you. They weren't treated like dogs, but like wild animals who were only trained to an extent. Blue was awesome. I was so sad the others died, but in my mind Blue and Rexy are off having adventures together.

Yeah, like I get why people who are really into dinosaurs and paleontologists would be annoyed that the JP dinosaurs don't have feathers but the first movie came out way before we knew that 100%, it just happened to be popular and ended up cementing the movie dino-look.

Yup, I really liked that touch. Yes the keepers have a bond with the raptors but it doesn't make them safe by any means.

I knoooow, poor other raptors, but Blue kicked ass and I too like to believe that her and Rexy are off having adventures together(and if they get more movies I hope they both come back).

I like both films, neither are as good as the first for me but I still enjoy them in their own way. Grant being in JP3 is one of the best bits about it I will agree, I also loved the Spinosaurus, it was cooooool.
