Third person limited makes overtly physical epithets super weird. Like, from a psychological perspective, you as a character would only think of someone as 'that blonde chick' or 'that black guy' when you don't really know them that well, but when you are all colleagues who've worked together for years... at least call them 'the accountant' or 'that asshole', that's so much more realistic.
