Late to the party, but yeah, I'll echo what other people said here: you might have been a factor - blunt, face-to-face criticism certainly has more effect on me than internet comments, T Campbell might be the same way - but I seriously doubt you were the only reason he chose to end the comic.

Basically nobody liked it, and people were calling him on it from the word go. T, a straight cisgendered man, decided to do an LGBT-centered comic without even doing enough research to know that "tranny" is a fucking offensive slur, and then defended himself in the forum not by saying "Yes, I know it's rude, but it made sense for this character to use that word" but by straight-up admitting he'd never heard that it was a slur, and then trying to claim he'd done research.

He'd have had to have been in solitary confinement to not have realized how much people didn't like that comic.

God, right? Like where the fuck does a straight cis guy get off writing about LGBT people? Specifically trans lesbians??

I actually don't have a problem with straight cisgendered people writing LGBT characters in theory. In fact, I think David Willis is doing a pretty good job with his non-straight characters over at Dumbing of Age right now. But T Campbell's attempt was god awful. If you're not even going to do enough research to learn what terms are considered offensive by members of the community, you have no business writing that community.
