Leftover pairings are the worst, YES! WE-GET-IT! the ship we wanted didn't happen, do they have to pair absolutely EVERYONE up?! I hate it when that happens, I'm okay with my pairings not being canon, but when tptb pair people up just for the sake of pairing people up ARRRGGGHHH! don't get me started.

It's okay if someone is alone with their love still unrequited in the end.

I do think it's nice when people get over getting their heart broken and find someone else--but that takes development. Just suddenly slapping two people together because one of them got dumped...no. D:

Yeah, when someone has been so *omg* in love with a person their entire life and they are desperately in love during a series, and the other person gets paired up with someone else. And there might be tears but suddenly the next episode/chapter the heartbreak is gone and they've forgotten all about the love of their lives and conveniently fall for someone else, in the blink of an eye.
