It's becoming common these days to do that, but the origin of the gn is as i have said, an easier, more collectable format. People are releasing their work in graphic novel format these days for the same reason. It's simply easier publish, and collect.

well yes, i recognise that 'graphic novel' is the term used for the books. but like, if anyone ever says 'i draw graphic novels' instead of 'i draw comics,' i am immediately wary of that.

ugh yeah true, people that act like 'graphic novel' is something like... better than comics are like ...wut. If you don't want to be labelled a nerd why are you even drawing comics XD
