Actually, most of what I read was "OMG WUT IF DEY KANT DRAW HOOMANZ OMG ITT: PITYPARTY LOL"

"Then there are people who are actual fans of furry series, say like Sonic, or Pokemon, or - heaven forbid I touch this one - Disney. These are people who have grown up watching and/or playing these shows/games (AS KIDS, GODS, NOT KIDS ENJOYING SOMETHING, AVERT YOURS EYES CHILDREN), and draw these characters for FUN. HOLY SHIT, DID I SAY FUN, I MEANT FAH-GOH-TREEEEEE :O"

And in that, I think you missed the point of the secret itself. The OP wasn't bitching about people drawing Disney's Robin Hood as a furry or Mickey Mouse as he originally was, the OP was talking about people who take human characters {that's right, HUMANS, not SONIC characters or anthro DISNEY characters, characters from live action TV shows and movies or cartoons that don't have anything to do with animals} and bastardize them into furry form.

"My point is dude, seriously, it's one thing to say "I dislike your art style," but to come out and blatantly flame the furry artists out there, who more than likely do it for their own enjoyment, is just a tad over the top."

By enjoyment, you mean fapping until the paws of their fur suits are crusted over with white, right?
