h-hullo.

I'm working on seeing the Classic stuff - I've seen some of 4, 5 and 6 (6 scares me, but I love 4 and 5), but it's hard to buy the DVDs on amazon when you don't really know which timeline you're buying xD; I'm a stickler for watching things in order.

I really really want to join 'cuz...it just looks so amazing. But the epic Rose vs. Martha ship wars scare me.

There's really nothing wrong with watching them out of order - unlike New Who, they are rather episodic in nature. You should watch some of 3 and 7 to get a taste of the full spectrum (a lot of the First and Second Doctors' episodes got burned D:)

Try a community like loves_them_all and you can't go wrong. :3 We have yet to have a problem with the ridiculous Martha vs Rose war.

So I've heard! Which is fun. I just wish there were actual boxsets for the previous Doctors according to number, instead of just little things with all episodes from one storyline :[ I'm just...anal that way and want to see the Doctors in order xD;;;
I also heard about the burned copies. The friend who converted me to DW was telling me about that...

One of the Fourth Doctor's seasons is out in boxset - the Key to Time. Plus, they've started releasing boxsets grouped by shared villians - Daleks, Cybermen, etc. If you're willing to give 6 a chance, they'll be re-releasing Trial of a Time Lord on DVD by the end of the year. :3
