Whee! Delurking!

Hello. It's always nice to meet a fellow Nine fan. The cap you used for your secret gives me chills every time I see it. And anyone who likes both Rose and Martha is okay by my book.

If you're into analysis, I'd highly recommend Jacob's recaps (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/Shows/Doctor-Who) at TWOP – assuming you haven't seen them already. Sadly, the episode-by-episode breakdowns have been discontinued, but he's still doing a season-in-review bit. Happily, seasons one and two are still up. I don't remember whether his earliest recaps were as amazing as his later ones, but I know that he'd hit his stride by "The Long Game." When I rewatched that episode after reading his review of it, all sorts of things started jumping out at me that I'd never noticed before.

For fanfic, I recommend Teaspoon and an Open Mind (http://www.whofic.com/). My favorite author there is Camilla Sandman (http://www.whofic.com/viewuser.php?uid=549), even if many of her fics are a bit smuttier than I'd like (I usually just skim over those parts). Since you're a Nine/Rose fan, I also have to link you to The Life Fantastic (http://www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=8600), a retelling of season one from inside the Doctor's head. (Personally, I think the fact that that story can be told over and over again in various ways without ever getting old is evidence of just how truly epic it is.)
