I don't know. With the way Will reads crime scenes, there might be a bit of wizardry going on, and it's not that much of a stretch to see Hannibal as some sort of dark wizard. Or something horrible from Dresden's Nevernever.

By the second or third episode I saw I was telling the show "nope, I don't care what vaguely scientific or logical explanation you try to give, he's just psychic". That said, Harry didn't show much aptitude for Divination.
