I quit watching before Carter slept with Max, but one reason was how much Taylor was always pissing me off. Max's injury/recovery wasn't all about you! Grow up a little! I get that her parents were probably crazy over protective after one twin was kidnapped, and then Carter comes in and gets all the attention. But it's like it never occurs to her that Carter has feelings and stuff, too.

I feel like one of the reasons this show is great is that the teens do act irrationally and stuff like that, then realize it later. And I do feel like Taylor eventually did get to the point where she understood what happened and was able to get past it, though I'll admit, I've missed at least one of the most recent episodes so I don't know how well she was able to actually do this.

Carter in season one was pretty much the same, a kid who did some obnoxious, terrible things and then eventually realized how she was acting.
