yeah, that entire quest was just...unsettling

That quest destroyed me. I haven't been able to replay the game because of it.

This quest was one of the most fucked up things in Dragon Age. I was absolutely horrified and gutted for Hawke... Like they hadn't lost enough by that point.

The scene with your LI immediately after was quite nice though, and I loved the added Leandra scenes in the DLC. (Wasn't it Legacy?) I cried buckets at that; it was one of the better, more emotional moments in the game.

I can absolutely see why you would have difficulty playing this. (And I'm so sorry about your mom, though I'm sure you did all you could. There's only so much that can be done in a situation like that one.)

I'm sorry about your mom, OP. If she died of illness then there's nothing you could've done, don't blame yourself.

But that quest in not only unsettling, it's unnecessary. There is no reason for Leandra to die in the game other than ~anyone can die grimdark~ bullshit
