We have voluteer opportunities all the time. All we do, is put our name in the system , how many hours we're willing work, and pick the dates. Every week we get emails telling us if we were assigned extra hours or not.

More times than not, I don't get anything, but every now and then I do. I get a higher chance around holidays, though. And since Father's Day is Sunday, we've got a high volume of freight going through the facility, so...extra help is needed during the dayside hours (i work nights).

Ah, we usually don't have enough work during the summer holidays for that. :(

Not even Mother's Day? Oo The amount of flowers we get tends to send people with allergies into fits or even has people stay home that week.

Nope. :( We sell sewing/embroidery stuff so the holidays blow up because of people buying and making gifts.
