Sure! I have plenty of friends I've almost never had quarrel with.

My dad's just a mediocre parent and shitty human being and I've never had the best relationship with him.

We're doing a simple dinner at home as a family, nothing big this year.

We celebrated yesterday. It was a bit of a disaster. My brother cannot control his kids. They ended up causing my mom to fall down and hit her head.

My sister-in-law accidentally dropped some ice cream on the floor and my nephew licked in up before he could be stopped (and then tried to put his tongue in the ice cream bucket itself). He is far too old for gross stuff like that.

He also let out ear-splitting shrieks that really hurt my dad's ears (even after my nephew was told to stop it).

Mostly worried about my mom though.

Those kids should've been aborted. You know they're just as awful little monsters in public, if not worse. Nobody should have to be subjected to that.

If all of the children act like this, then it's probably an issue with the parenting. I feel sorry for children like that more than anything tbh because they're probably just not going to grow up very well adjusted at this rate if something in the household doesn't change

My parents are out of town, so my present to my dad is coming to their house and cleaning out another few boxes of my old school stuff in their basement.

I made brunch for people! It was blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and bacon cooked in the oven- all by request.

Everything was eaten to the last crumbs, so I feel like I did a good job.

My siblings and I (one of us a college student and two in high school) clubbed together for an expensive spa day for my parents, for a father's day and mother's birthday two-in-one deal. Thought it would be a nice thing for them to do together, etc.

Mother has totally flipped out and not even pretended to be grateful for the effort. Dad would probably go, but she won't bother by the looks of it.

This is why we never bother with father's day/mother's day even though we're totally expected to make a huge deal lol.

Not really, just cooked for my dad. (Nothing super special or complicated.)

The only thing my dad wants to do today is watch sports and go to Church, so for the most part I left him be.
