Yes, how dare people have preferences that don't match up to your own.

Well I totally agree with the first line, if op think it's better then op thinks it is better! But factually better is debatable depending on preferences. If you're after a slow dino movie it's better by virtue of having dinos. If you're after explosions mad max is better and if you're after strong female characters mad max is also better, hands down.

Line 3 part 1 is not really comparable for either. It's like saying you don't like scifi because there's too much scifi. It's part of the genre!

Line 3 part 2 is just nope. Jurassic world has awesome dinos but the characters are severely lacking in characterisation. Great for fandom and meta, not so interesting by themselves in a viewing. No one watches Jurassic world for the characters were all there for the dinos. It's a shallow dino popcorn flick with unfortunately dull trope characters.

Max could be viewed as dull if you don't know him but he's really not meant to be an active protagonist. He's a passive protagonist to the themes of each movie. If you don't like that you may find him dull. But I found Owen dull as fuck because his character couldn't be any more generic if he tried. The raptors were cool. I find max interesting in that his characters passiveness is not a common protagonist type and is novel in that, especially in contrast to the rest of the world. Then there's also the many other characters max is meant to take the back seat to.

Well I think you give a detailed and interesting dissertation here of the differences between the movie. Is that anon a stalker!anon?

I could go into so much more detail lol. Like. They're not the same genre and you don't go into them to see the same things. Although they can both give you an adrenaline rush maybe? An they're both kinda long?

Re anon: Not sure yet, it's only been a couple of comments each day for a couple of days. Maybe a week. Could also be a different one each time? I think anon would need to do it for like. Idk for a couple of months before I'd start feeling concerned for them.

Ngl im looking forward to seeing what the next comment is. They're pretty short today. And I don't think rude anon is the same anon as I was replying to.

The psychology of what makes a stalker!anon different from a troll anon vs passingby shit stirrer could be interesting.
