I genuinely love the half shaved look. Rosario Dawson rocked the hell out of her hair in Daredevil! (And of course Natalie is lovely no matter what.) Either way I'm sure there's lots of options available, you just might need to research a bit! (Silver hair is gorgeous. I used to be a massive fan back in my anime days, lol.)
I suppose if you had the money and the skill you could make them yourself...but that does indeed take a lot of time and cash. I'm not talented enough to make clothing, but I'm sure it's a skill that would come in handy. (And well worth learning, again, if you have the time and availability.)
We all fail in that area sometimes. I'm glad you tag, though! I love when people tag; it makes stuff easy to find, which is a must for me. (I still follow people who don't tag, but I generally prefer people who do. I'm not even attempting to find anything on your blog if you don't tag, that shit is impossible.)
I think because of the nature of tumblr, it makes in depth discussion difficult so people don't even try. If you really want to start a conversation with someone it takes a lot of effort. It's a mess. Finding other people's comments is a pain as well because you have to scroll through a shitload of notes, and most people comment in tags anyway because doing so in the post is considered 'rude'. Tumblr is weird and doesn't lend to a sense of real community. Reddit was a fun platform if you found the right subreddit, but honestly a lot of the userbase were assholes. lol.
I'm not a Hook fan, no. He's def hot and I can see where the appeal of his type of character comes from, but he just rubs me the wrong way. TBH I disliked half of OUAT's cast (despite enjoying the show and the performances) and the people I did like nobody cared about so I didn't fit in that fandom at all, lmao.

I've been loving it too because I've been seeing it everywhere! So I think I'm gonna do that and have some silver hair, whenever I can afford it ugh lol. But yeah I've looked into haircuts a lot, I just try not to when I don't have money ja feel?
I actually do know how to sew, I'd just have to the layout for the clothing and the print or whatever you call it so I could sew it correctly. I haven't actually made clothes in a long time, and I do have the time for it, just not the money these days. Maybe I will pick it up again some day!
I follow people who don't tag as well and it drives me nuts sometimes omg, but yeah I tag all the important stuff first and then I just put my thoughts in there as well. Because yeah tumblr is weird with the commenting on posts and such and it being "rude". Although people still do it every now and again, I kind of understand if it's on something I've made??
Yeah tumblr just isn't made for discussing things really, it's more like "everybody make a post about their opinion and see who likes it" kind of thing. It's not really a discussion, it's more like "who likes my opinion the most??" kind of thing. Hence why I miss LJ, cause this is how it used to be, threads like this! Also yeah that's why I stayed away from reddit because literally everyone was an asshole almost.

That's reasonable! I don't like to tempt myself with things I can't have...too often. But where do you live that silver hair is everywhere? I want to go there and marvel at everyone. As far as that goes, I just find all kinds of grey and white to look really dignified too.
Neat! I've always wanted to learn how to sew but it hasn't happened. I would say "It seems simple enough" but that might be lying, lol. I know sewing a button back onto a top or something is drastically different from actually making clothing, but it's a great skill-set to have.
See, the problem I have is I want to know what other people think without having to scroll for five minutes to find a comment! Or having to look at everyone's reblogs to see what they tagged the post as. That shit is impossible...ain't nobody got time for that.
Haha, well...in a sense I understand the tumblr mentality, because even getting a like is kind of nice when you're talking about something you care about, but a like is much different than an actual conversation. Unless tumblr changes something big it's always going to be full of mindless reblogging. (Which, again, I enjoy, but the platforms and experiences are major contrasts.)
The Dragon Age subreddit was excellent! So I kind of hope reddit pulls their shit at least somewhat together...even if I don't visit often (lol, understatement). I liked that community.
The mains that everybody finds annoying or boring, lmao. Snow, Charming, Emma, then Ruby, Archie, and Neal. I really loved the whole Aurora/Mulan storyline too, and Graham was good...while he lasted. So was August and frankly I was hella creeped out by how the show handled his story.

I live in California right now, I might be going back to Wisconsin soon (where I was born and lived all of my life except the last four months, I just need help getting there ): ). Wisconsin doesn't have many silver-haired people that's for sure lol so I'd be sticking out back there. I would do white, but I think that I might just have white highlights in the grey lol.
I actually don't know how to sew a button back onto a shirt or jacket that well LOL! But yeah sewing is not simple at all, they actually taught us how to sew by hand in my school when I was in 7th grade (middle school). Yeah definitely a great skill, but I am also definitely rusty at it lol.
Yes agreed on the scrolling endlessly, I have to do that so much all the time, it drives me crazy and I definitely don't have time for it! Also the mindless reblogging and then the arguing that comes along with it sometimes has also driven me away from tumblr. I use it still, but I prefer LJ again, and am hoping that it revives again someday.
I do like the nosleep and letsnotmeet subreddit so far and that's it, I still haven't looked around much on that site because I've heard such terrible things lol. But I have also heard that there are good subreddits, so I'm tempted.

Ooo, California! I've never been to California, but from what I've seen it's absolutely beautiful. I'm sure there's lots of gorgeous people there too, so that's a plus? Lots of variety, so yea, your silver hair might not stand out. I hope everything works out for you if you do end up moving again!
In our school it wasn't until high-school home ec that we were 'taught' to sew. We never spent long in class practicing though and most people got jack shit out of it. Only a few actually got around to making some type of clothing and everyone else fucked around, lol. Oh school. But yea, I don't imagine it's easy!
Which fandoms do you see arguing in? I always hear about that kind of thing but don't really experience it because I mostly keep to myself. I have occasionally noticed some of the people I follow get into spats (because someone was an asshole to them, usually without reason), but they're a bit more involved with tumblr, I think. I find tumblr intimidating for that reason too. You can have good intentions, but sometimes people will blow up for nothing.
Nosleep seems to be a popular one! I've only visited a couple times but they seemed to have some cool stories. I like a nail polish subreddit...and sometimes the gaming one isn't completely horrible (sometimes), but there are a lot of options. Some subreddits are worse than others.
I felt SO bad for August...he was creepy as hell as Pinocchio tbh. And to be an adult then to turn back into a child? Uh, no thanks. I don't know what happened to him after that, but I was pretty upset on his behalf.

This is actually the second time I've been to California, last time was NorCal though in San Jose, this time I'm down by L.A. in the desert. Yes there are beautiful people, but there are beautiful people everywhere lol, and there are ugly people here as well?? I've colored my hair weird colors before so the point is to stand out (: even if I do move back home (which I really hope I do). Thank you! Although I just heard some rough news today to make it hard.
We had home ec in high school too, but it wasn't mandatory so I didn't end up taking it, which I'm kind of sad about tbh. Yeah it was our sophomore year that we got to choose between four classes or something and you could only take two, and that was one of them and I didn't choose it for some reason.
Well I have been on tumblr since it's beginning, so about 5+ years, off and on. But my main fandom for that whole time was always Supernatural, so I've seen plenty of fights within that fandom. I've been in a rare few, but not for a long time have I participated. Each fandom has mindless arguing though and I tend to ignore it as well, I keep to myself mostly now. I have over 2k followers so yeah lol I try not to make a mess of my blog anymore, just pretty and funny stuff.
Yeah nosleep is definitely popular, I love creepypastas and scary stories! Otherwise I don't venture into reddit, especially now since crazy stuff has been going down and people are getting fired.
I didn't mind him as Pinocchio, then again I don't really get creeped out that easily, and I didn't really find him creepy to begin with lol. But yeah when they just randomly changed him back into a child I was just like..okay??? I was upset too.

Ah, yea, that's true of course. Beautiful and ugly people everywhere (and both are fine!), I would just get a kick out of possibly getting a glimpse of a celeb because I've never met one! What color have you dyed your hair? I've always thought pink and blue were so cool (either separately or together), but I don't think I'm that adventurous. I'm sorry about the news, though. I don't want to pry but if you ever want to talk about it I can lend an ear?
Wow, you have a shitload of followers! I have under a 100, lol, I am not tumblr popular. (Which in the long run is probably a good thing as it means you're less likely to get random hate.) SPN fandom was my favorite fandom back near the beginning of the show (the LJ version, that is) but it's always been pretty crazy. Lots of super enthusiastic and opinionated people, and as the show went on it seems to have just gotten more wanky.
It was a bit out of left field...maybe that's why it bothered me so much. That, and, again, the thought of changing from an adult to a child is kind of unsettling to me.

Well I'm glad you really like them bb (: that makes me feel good about them lol. I'm still in fandom but not much anymore, I haven't finished s10 because I was just like "meh" about it and got distracted by other things and shows. I will eventually, but not anytime soon, probably before the next season though and when I crave Wincest, because duh. Wincest. That is the only fic I read lol, and I do prefer making icons of that show.
I haven't had a glimpse of any celebs yet ): which sucks because I was in L.A. a bunch of times before I ran out of money, which sucks because now I'm out of money lol. But yeah I've dyed my hair purple, red, blue, not all over my head for each of them though. Also I pm'd you the bad news.
Yeah I've been stuck at just over 2k for a while, probably because I haven't made any tumblr sized grahics or gifs in a while, also because I changed my blog from spn to multi-fandom. I also terribly miss the early days of the SPN fandom on LJ, I was heavily into it and it was wonderful. But then tumblr started and even right before that, it was just getting more and more opinionated and just not the same.
Yeah the whole Pinocchio thing just makes me sad to think about I'm with Emma when she said "That still weirds me out" or however she said it, but she didn't like it either.

Tumblr is kind of fickle about follows, I think. I've heard if you aren't churning out new content on a regular basis that some people will unfollow you, but I've also seen the opposite, where if you post too much people will unfollow you. I say just do what you want and don't worry about followers.
