NAYRT but I would think that since racism in this conception is basically something that comes out of structural power dynamics, the answer would have reference to that: whether or not racism exists against a given group is something that you can only understand by looking at the structural dynamics in the given society.

So black people and Asians, on this reading, can both be racist against each other, I think.

Nah, according to idiots like that (the anon they were asking), Asians are super privileged compared to black people, so much they probably almost count as white. So they can be racist towards black people but black people totes can't be racist towards asian people. Now black people vs. Native American people, that's an interesting privilege war.

I guess I just don't really see the importance of limiting myself to repeating stupid things just because other people happen to think them.
