I know people generally hate the Martin Freeman movie version (and it def has its problems) but I loved Mos Def as Ford.

Yessss, Ford is my favorite! Love him in every adaptation and have thus far satisfied myself with fanfic about the rest of his life (although that's sorely lacking as well). A+ secret, amigo!
