But I also watch things that aren’t that good, where he hardly gets screentime or says anything. Then I compared him to similar celebrities I also like but whose careers I haven’t looked at as thoroughly. I realised I find him better-looking, and I like the way he talks.
I know there are people on the internet who think he’s attractive. And I don’t put him on a pedestal. But he’s old enough to be my father (with a youngish start) and some angles flatter him much more than others, and I just thought that since I’ve been a cold fish about this kind of thing my whole life, I wouldn’t suddenly get a sort-of-crush this hard to explain.
TL;DR: OP who doesn’t “do” crushes got the weird celebrity crush they never had as a teenager, which isn’t actually that weird, but makes them very embarrassed anyway.

The more attractive at some angles thing would make sense... But it could be anyone, really.

And, yea, OP might still never get a crush on someone they know IRL or another celeb, but if you do OP, that's okay!
It doesn't need to change anything unless you want it to.

As you do, of course. You don't know how many awful Costas Mandylor or C. Thomas Howell movies I've seen (and own).

I guess Dean Stockwell is quite a bit older, though.
is that....
(Anonymous) 2015-06-23 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)I'm kind of the opposite to OP, in that most of the celebs the Internet stans for are in my age cohort, which half the time has me thinking, "They got paid HOW much, for WHAT?" and the other half going, "People my own age have always sucked, why would celebs be any different?"
TL:DR; Book!anon says hello.

(Anonymous) 2015-06-24 04:03 am (UTC)(link)I don't have a clear impression of what age cohort of celebs has the most stans, but yeah stans can be pretty annoying. The guy my secret's about doesn't have a visible standom as far as I know.
