Everyone acted like him using periscope was the best thing since sliced bread. So I tried to watch him but he came across as a clueless fratboy dudebro. I kept quiet because I didn't want to ruin people's fun but now that he made those declarations... I feel so vindicated

I'm very confused because when I hear "periscope", I think "submarine" and get a sudden flash of Brendon Urie in some sort of Hunt for Red October scenario.

I didn't know there was any other definition of periscope besides a thing on a submarine before this secret. It was making zero sense to me.

I haven't seen a lot of his Periscopes, but from previous interviews and concerts I've seen, he IS a bit of a goofy stoner boy. Nevertheless, he is a very talented person (my father, a musician who usually derides modern day music, even likes him)

I actually had a relative who does tech who worked with the band for a while (post-split to clarify) he left earlier than anticipated (for reasons that weren't entirely clear to me initially) that made me worry that Brendon or other band members were actually assholes, but my relative actually had to leave for health reasons and had nothing but good things to say about the band.

He's far from a musical genius, but he seems like a decent guy.
