why would Baptists specifically doxx you?

It's a long story, but basically this Baptist set up a honeypot of a web forum to try and convert ex-members of a particular church/sect (that we all grew up in) into being Baptists...only he lied, mostly by omission, and didn't state specifically that he was trying to make everyone be Baptists/get converted to being Baptists. So, every post made to this web forum (which the lying admin said was "open to people from all paths/walks of life") would get turned into a "Jesus loves me! Don't you want to know how you, too, can walk around going, Jesus loves me!??" post.

Also! If you posted anything that was specifically against Baptist dogma, you would get a nasty PM, and/or post deleted. Remember, this guy hadn't told anyone he was Baptist, let alone that he was trying to convert everyone into being Baptists...he kept burbling on about "You can be an independent Christian! You don't need a Christian social club (IOW, to be a member of a church)!" Bonus!fail, the admin was ALSO a Baptist hireling, overseeing two congregations of these "Christian social clubs" he constantly mocked. I'm sure his parishioners would have been very pleased to read those comments.

So, when I objected to the 10,000000000000000th PM from one of his sockpuppets telling me, "You are being offensive to Christians and Christianity," I basically made an empty threat of doxxing against the admin (who I really didn't know the identity of, we were all mostly anonymous/pseudonymous on this forum), he used one of his sockpuppets (he had three accounts, pretending to be two brothers and a girlfriend of one of them) to dox me. This, after he used said sockpuppet (which he'd been playing as an atheist, who was somehow mysteriously exempt from all these nasty PMs the other non-Baptists were getting) to "find Gawd" conveniently in the form of his "brother's" Baptist mentor/trainer/employer/I don't even know what.

...and that's how the Baptists tried to doxx me.

TL;DR: Baptists gunna Bapt, and if you don't go along with them, they will try to end you, in new and interesting and various ways.
