Re: Foods you love that other people have told you are gross?

Tofu, seitan, tempeh, various vegetables (tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, broccoli, bean sprouts, Brussels sprouts, squash, jicama..etc). The key is in the way you prepare these things. There's a way to make everything taste good.

An ex roomie of mine used to think curry was gross until I made it for her.

I also love oatmeal raisin cookies, which is apparently polarizing for some people.

I like plain yogurt, and I have been known to drink pickle brine on occasion.

Mostly anything that people hate because it's healthy is something I genuinely take pleasure in eating, and have since I was a child.

Pickle brine? Wow you sound French.

I found that making chocolate-covered raisin oatmeal cookies was a pretty efficient way in disappointing many everyones :(

The best time to drink pickle brine is immediately after smoking a joint. Tons of salt and pretty hydrating so it staves off the dry mouth very effectively, and it tastes extra amazing.

Awww. My SO loves oatmeal raisin cookies, so at least when I'm making them I only run the risk of disappointing company.

I have bad reactions to chocolate and oats together.

I love tomatoes and eggplant, especially in anything middle eastern.
