Stubborn is actually a fine trait when done correctly. It's a 'Mary Sue trait' when the character is stubborn but always turns out to be right anyway. Just like any other trait that's called a flaw but doesn't actually negatively impact the character except for making them wrongfully persecuted for their rightness.

Ah.

Well I have to disagree that a trait should be considered a "Mary Sue Trait" for being misused, but YMMV.

I meant more like that it's one of those traits common in many classic Mary Sues, it was awkwardly phrased sorry

I confess I might have impulsively acted due to my experience with the "that's a sue trait , never use it" people I've met in fandom circles (and writing circles sadly). I apologize.
