That I have really, really poor vision. People tend to forget because I wear contacts 90% of the time. Then that 10% of the time when I come to work wearing my glasses, they're all "Oh wow, your glasses are so thick!"

I'm a homo and I don't wanna date dudes. And I don't get crushes on dudes. And I sure as hell don't wanna marry a dude. On account of being gay and interested in ladies.

I'm a vegetarian. I probably couldn't eat meat without getting sick. Why are people always so surprised when I'm eating vegetables?

Just because I look more Irish than my Puerto Rican side people always forget. Never mind that I was BORN THERE.

That I was born in Australia, NOT Canada (I'm American, for reference). I don't know how people get those mixed up, but everyone always remembers it as Canada. Must be my lack of an Australian accent.

That I can't cope with hearing other people's problems long-term. A few times, yes, along with "and this is what I think I'll do about it" on the last iteration. For weeks, months - or years? Nope.

Don't eat fish I didn't catch (ok I can see why it's forgettable)

Lactose intolerant (also understandable cause I've got useful pills to make dairy digesting easier)

I'm immunocompromised. My immediate family is usually pretty good about this, but my brother's in laws will say dumb shit like, "Well it doesn't matter if the kids are sick, it's family."

No, fuck that.

That I can't run. Unless I'm having a bad day my joints seem okay (for now) and then people will forget that there are things that I can't do. Which leads to things like my friends sprinting to the car to escape the weather while I'm trailing way behind them wondering when they're going to notice that I'm not with them.

People forget that I don't drink alcohol. Not for moral or medical reasons, it tastes horrible to me and I don't like it at all. Not even in super sweet mixed drinks.

the right was to say my name. I don't know if It's accent, illiteracy, or if they are inattentively deaf, but someone always thinks it's some girl version of Julia or James. gha!

The correct spelling of my first name. And my middle name. And sometimes my last name too

That I wear other colours than black. I had a phase of wearing exclusively black about 15 years ago. It ended about 13 years ago. Yet some people still act like the world ended because "OMG you be wearing a COLOUR durrhurrhurr".
I get it, I mostly wear darker or more muted colours. But if they'd ever seen me in pastels or neon colours, they'd know how ridiculous I look. But you'd think all the green and blue I wear (and my complaining that there are rarely nice shades of green in fashion) would have registered after over a decade.
