Not even when they are self contained to their own movies? I don't like the Avengers ships at all but I like Steve/Sam, Steve/Bucky, Tony/Rhodey, etc.

Yeah, I mean I prefer Steve/Sam to Stucky but good lord...how is it difficult to understand why people slash that?

Steve is so devoted to Bucky that he'd let him kill him. Bucky cares so much for Steve that it allowed him to break through his programming.

Like, that amount of love and devotion, of course people are going to ship it.

Oh I get why people ship it; I can analyze it and see the similarities to m/m things I ship in other fandoms.

But emotionally (? not the right word, but I don't have a better) it just doesn't light up my control board at all.
