I agree. I was trying to say it more nicely with:

"Katara was the girl a lot of female viewers identified with and Zuko is the hot guy they want. Not Aang."

But...yeah...that's kind of how I see it.

This sentiment bugs me a bit because that's not why I ship it at all. But then maybe it does have something to do with why it's so popular? :/ IDK I'm glad I never really got into the fandom for this show...
