A little hyperbolic, but I agree this feels like sour grapes that women are finally getting to headline a film all by them selves.

Can't disagree with you on this seeming a bit sour-grapesy, but if you really think this is the first all-female film or something, you have either been living under a rock, or are off your rocker.

I've seen so many people have the sour grapes reaction to the all female Ghostbusters. It just seems so ridiculous to me. Is it really that bad of a thing?

Ah, it's just that the original is so well-loved. So it's like the backlash for the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, multiplied by a factor of [X] because they recast Willie Wonkah as Wilhelmina.

I haven't heard anyone complain about the all male Ghostbusters remake though.
