I get more irked by villain Sues whose mere presence in the plot cause everyone to become idiots, and all their plans go off flawlessly. At least until the comeuppance, but damn does it take a contrived journey to get there.

I'm thinking Vee from OITNB, Sylar from Heroes, T-Bag in Prison Break (one-handed super powers apparently), and even Joker in probably any DC run where he's just not fun.

Honestly, Heroes had problems all around with keeping the plot on rails. "Here's this character with this really cool power! Shit, we made them too powerful! Let's just have them act like an idiot until we can find a way to weaken them so they won't break the plot."
