Harry Potter question

I've always wondered. Do all Seers make prophecies and then not realize they made one or remember it at all or is Trewelany just weird? The way they portrayed her prophecy-making in the books, I was just like "you might want to get that checked out. Cause that sounds like some kind of blacking out brain damage shit"

The problem is canon only has one example, so we don't know if she's normal or an exception.
