I don't think Benedict Cumberbatch is a particularly good actor based in the movies I've seen him in. He can't exactly disappear into characters and Imitation Game, especially, was an overrated movie which didn't know the meaning of subtlety, and wherein no one really deserved any acting noms.

I thought he was greatest in The Hobbit, personally. But everything else I've seen him in, I've been left unimpressed.
