Yeah but he kind of did jump immediately into "Oh no what could I have done to prevent this?" mode there in the van when, as a leader, his priority in that moment should have been to ensure the wellbeing of his team. Like, if you feel so responsible for what happened to your last partner, maybe you should care more about the fact that your current partner is bleeding out in her seat? Wording aside, AYRT has a point. Steve has tunnel vision.
