Watching this scene always breaks my heart.

I know Malcolm can be pretty awful, but ultimately, I believe he was always just trying to do his job.

I shouldn't feel sorry for him, but I do, especially after the way S4 ended.

Yes - Malcolm is Peter Capaldi's character in "the Thick of It."

Yea, I recognized Capaldi but knew it couldn't be from Doctor Who because of the name in the secret.

I wonder if it's good?

As I understand it, he's a nightmare co-worker in a government ministry--a terrible bully.

Ah, now I see why OP thinks they shouldn't feel sorry for him. Bullies are often the hardest characters to connect to.

Malcolm a bully?

He's so much worse than that.

Hahaha. That's pretty great!

Well at least he's a bully with a sense of humor about his own qualities.

I started watching it because I loved Capaldi as Twelve and have not been disappointed. He play Malcolm Tucker, a spin doctor working for the UK Government. He does come off as a bully, but he has to deal with so much shit that he has no choice. It's a brilliantly funny show really, with so much going on and with some of the most colorful swearing I've ever heard.

Colorful swearing is beautiful and there can never be enough. It sounds like a pretty good show! I like the premise, anyway.

And Capaldi is a fantastic actor if Who is anything to go by, so I def wouldn't mind seeing his other stuff. Eventually.

I'll keep it in mind!
