My roommate didn't want to have a cat memorial even though she's had the cat for longer than me. She's one of those people who don't see cats as people/their children. So I had my own one in my head.

My dad's out of the hospital and doing better.

My mother googled "immigration law jobs" and saw all the spam websites and thought those were all real jobs and told me I just needed to "cast my net wider."

I'm still feeling pretty sick so I didn't get much studying done today. I mostly slept.

I did end up taking the squeaky toy I bought the cat and burying it and saying a few words. It definitely helped me feel a bit better.

It's heartbreaking when pets go - I'm glad your farewell to her made you feel a bit better.

And that your Dad is on the mend is just great to hear.
