The whole point of this section is that some people think we SHOULDN'T walk and chew gum. They think we shouldn't be happy AT ALL because there's still work to be done. You know what? Fuck them, because I just don't have the energy to be fucking miserable every single fucking second of my life. I want to be able to experience some joy every now and fucking then instead of having to act like a dour wannabe martyr. There's just no point in living or fighting if we're never allowed to be happy, ever, even when we win a battle.

I see an equal number of people who say that we SHOULDN'T walk and chew gum, that we should shut up about things that are not Obergefell because you're celebrating.

Be happy. I'm happy. But I'm not going to stop talking about what I have to deal with on Monday morning. If you don't want to participate in those discussions, you don't have to.
