I feel that way about most comic book movies.

Isn't half o the Extended SW 'verse uncanoned anyway? It seems really interesting, but it's partially the reason I can't sit through the Clone Wars show - I know what happens, and it doesn't really matter / make sense for me to watch it.

To my knowledge everything but the movies and the Clone Wars tv show were made not-canon by Disney.

See, I genuinely liked the cast of the Star Wars films but never became too attached to the Harry Potter cast. I liked the writing well enough and loved the universe, but never got around to finishing the books because the main cast and story didn't hold my interest.

I do like the Star Wars verse enough to care about related media, but still haven't really explored it yet. (Excluding the BioWare games...but I love my BioWare games.)

Anyway, I feel you; I think I have a better chance of caring about the new HP films because of the new characters.

I'm so so psyched for Fantastic Beasts, you don't even know. The moment Jo revealed that Newt was a hufflepuff, I fell in love. Even though Eddie looks more like a Gryffindor, his personality screams hufflepuff so I'm there.

What the hell. You don't "look" like a house.

DA. I guess it's his red hair that makes him look like a weasley, ergo stereotypical gryffindor?

Same here, OP! I'm also looking forward to more fandom activities.

Shame that fandom don't seem to make long manifestos to propose theories about the memory charm/the statute of secrecy/Dumbledore/etc. I loved that part of the old fandom.

Odd that you say you don't care for the EU of Star Wars...since that is a good way to enjoy the universe outside the main characters. And there is a whole range of ways to get into SW - like the video games (which are awesome).

Hans? HanS? HANS OLO?

Maybe they just left out that it's a crossover with Frozen as well?
