I view the Xenemorphs as sexless tbh but considering that a lone one will turn into a queen the idea of them being all female isn't implausible to me.

Predators on the other hand I do view as male and I did think that there were female Predators shown in the comics but I can't actually find any images(I have found resin statues but I'm not sure if those are official or just fan-interpretation).

Either way head-canon what you like.

(And I too like AvP, the build-up isn't bad and I actually like the human characters well-enough, it's just how easy two of the Predators get killed off that bugs me, such a waste).

Huh. I had always been under the impression that all the Aliens are female, I don't even know why.

And I also spent a good chunk of time reading their wikipedia page just to find their gender haha.

Because of the Xenomorph Queen introduced in Aliens perhaps? http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Xenomorph_Queen

It seems the Xenomorphs is a lot like ants or wasp when it comes to breeding. (Parasitoid wasps that is.)

The idea of the Xenomorphs being all female is not something really strange, because of the insect associations. I think worker bees are technically female, so the idea that most "worker" aliens are female works. It's still the queen alone that produces the eggs (though I wonder if there are little-seen male drones somewhere).

Predators however are not something I've considered, but my mind wants to default to male on all the ones seen onscreen (I have not read any comics).

I always thought of both of them as fluid, as in they can change sexes whenever they want. Or that they have some kind of universal sex that works with everyone in their species, making them kind of androgynous.
I can't believe I'm participating in a talk about alien sexuality.
