It is spine-tingling and perfectly suited to the film's ideas and themes. John Williams, more than any other soundtrack composer, usually knocks it out of the park when it comes to identifying and narrowing down a film's driving ideas and emotions and creating a melody that translates those elements into pure musical form so tangible you can taste it. He's not the most creative or varied or daring or interesting film composer out there, but his strengths are really strong.

I think that if it hadn't been for John Williams and uncredited work by Marcia Lucas, we probably wouldn't have had a Star Wars.
