I watched Angel first too so that may play a part. I liked the characters on Angel much better.

I liked the first three seasons of Buffy, but didn't really care for Buffy herself and wasn't hugely invested in anyone other than Oz and Cordelia.

I LOVED Cordelia. After seeing her on Angel, it was really interesting to watch Buffy to see how different her character started out as. It was fun to watch Wesley bumble around too

Cordelia is the absolute best. I just love her so much! It was quite a treat to see how she started on Buffy and how she slowly started to show shades of the character she'd become on Angel.

Same. Dork!Wesley is best Wesley.

Personally I really hated Cordelia. It took me a while to warm up to her on Angel because of how much I loathed her on Buffy.

I can understand why, but for me, she was one of the few characters I actually gave a shit about on Buffy.

She spoke her mind and I really loved that about her. She didn't sugarcoat shit.

I liked the honesty, I just didn't like how she treated people. She reminded me too much of some people I knew in high school. But I can see why other people liked her.

And that's more than than fair. I guess coming off of Angel and watching Buffy years later, it didn't bother me as much as it should have. Plus, she did improve a bit in season two.
