Re: morally reprehensible stuff

I stole a knocked down street sign that had been laying next to the sidewalk of my high school for about a month. Obviously I didn't need it, but its not like stealing it hurt anyone at that point, and I figured it going on my wall was better than it just laying there letting bugs crawl on it.

Another theft anecdote: while I was never homeless myself I have known people who were, and sometimes they stole things they did need, and I can't fault them too much (especially since they were usually teenagers who were kicked out by their families).

I get really annoyed with hobbyist shoplifters that come from well off families/have things but just want to steal though.

With fictional characters its of course a case to case basis

with the sign you cleaned up the rubbish and reused an item wich was ecologically responsible of you.
