But that's still an essentially negligible value to the actual consumer, since they're still not going to raise prices higher than anyone is willing to pay. The actual value of that increase is on the level of a fraction of a cent per unit of product.

Besides, we're talking about a non-essential commodity of which I might have appropriated a total of four or five times in my life.

Also, I resent the implication that I have anything to do with PETA.
