If I was desperate and it was the most reasonable option? Sure.

I don't think theft is by definition morally reprehensible, though. It can be, but it depends on the nature of the theft, the depth of impact, and who's stealing from whom.

I also don't think theft is noble, though. It's an interesting conceit for a fictional character, but anyone in the real world who tells you they're stealing as a strike against the bad guys (or as any other sort of "good" act) is either deluding themselves, or selling you something.

Probably something both stolen and counterfeit.
