I really think most of the people responding in this thread aren't genuinely "weird", or are only weird in the most accepted of ways.

When you're really, really weird, you have no connections to people because they can't stand to be around you. I'm weird in unacceptable ways. I'm "room has to be a very exact temperature or I freak out" weird. I'm "keep a small jar of toenail clippings by computer to pick from and chew on" weird. I'm "baby powder my hair because it's too greasy from barely showering due to fear of water in my face" weird.

I'm not antisocial by nature, I'm not a recluse, I wish I had friends, but no one has ever stuck around through my weirdness. I hate it.
